Legacy Christian held our annual Pastor Appreciation Worship this October where we gather pastors, youth ministers, and worship leaders from our students’ churches to join our All School Worship service. It’s our way to show gratitude for the incredible impact these leaders have on the lives of our students and families. This year, we were blessed to have 30 guests with us.
Our worship time was filled with uplifting music and heartfelt moments. Together, we worshiped through song and prayer. In between songs, our students shared their personal interpretations of their favorite Bible stories for “The Bible According to Students”. These creative and thoughtful stories demonstrated their growing faith, capturing the essence of God’s Word in a way only young hearts can.
A particularly powerful moment unfolded at the conclusion of worship when our students offered a blessing to the pastors and leaders during the song “The Blessing” by Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes. As the lyrics filled the room, students and staff turned to face our guests, raising their hands in unison as they sang. It was a beautiful expression of gratitude and a tangible demonstration of the community’s love and support for those who shepherd our students in faith.
Following the worship service, we continued our time of fellowship outdoors, allowing everyone to connect more.
The partnership between our churches and Legacy Christian School is foundational to fostering a strong, faith-based community. Working together, we help instill consistent values and beliefs, creating a nurturing environment that supports both families and students. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to worship alongside so many dedicated pastors, youth ministers, and worship leaders. Their presence at our school enriches our mission and strengthens the bonds that help our students grow in their faith.
