At Legacy Christian, second grade provides opportunity for students to build on early academic foundations and sets the stage for a successful future. They continue to build on the reading, writing and math skills they learned in 1st grade. Students become more independent and love to talk about their faith.
2nd Grade
Our goal for our 2nd graders is for them to have an eagerness to learn and continue building on the skills they learned as a 1st grader. Legacy Christian offers an English classroom and a Spanish Immersion classroom for 2nd grade. However, students that have not had any previous Spanish Immersion instruction are not able to join the program in 2nd grade. 2nd graders also get to explore their gifts in Music, Spanish, Art, PE, Technology and more.
